Greek Language Classes

From the ancient philosophers to the New Testament authors, the Greek language has a long and rich history, and is the basis for many of our words in English. Learning Modern Greek can be both challenging and fun. Whether you’re planning a trip to Greece or just want to learn a new and interesting language, you will find our program will suit your needs.

Currently offered for adults only!

We use a college-level textbook and workbook that incorporates basic grammar, vocabulary, and dialogue with an emphasis on pronunciation.

Classes start October 9th, 2024 and are conducted via Zoom. They will be held on Wednesdays from 7:00 to 8:15 pm until June 2025. Knowledge of Greek is not a prerequisite.

The $300 bi-annual tuition ($600 total) can be paid online in two installments:

  • First installment is due October 2, 2024, and will be fully refundable (by request) through November 1, 2024

  • Second Installment is due February 28, 2025 and is not refundable (except under extraordinary circumstances at the instructor’s discretion)

(The change in payment practices, compared to previous years, was necessitated by repeated difficulty in reliably collecting monthly payments.)

To register and pay your monthly tuition, please click the Registration Form button below. If you have already registered and only wish to pay one of the tuition installments, click the Tuition Payment button below.
