Taking classes in Modern Greek will not necessarily enable you to read the New Testament (Koine) Greek.
Greek Language Classes
Classes start October 15th, 2025 and are conducted via Zoom. They will be held on Wednesdays from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm until June 2026.
The $300 bi-annual tuition ($600 total) can be paid online in two installments:
First installment is due immediately upon registration and will be fully refundable (by request) through November 1, 2025
Second Installment is due February 18, 2026 and is not refundable (except under extraordinary circumstances at the instructor’s discretion)
(The change in payment practices, compared to previous years, was necessitated by repeated difficulty in reliably collecting monthly payments.)

We hope to resume beginner’s classes again in Fall 2026 and are also endeavoring to provide a children’s program in the near future as well. In addition, Assumption Greek Orthodox Church in Scottsdale offers classes at various levels.
