Adult Catechism classes have evolved over the years, from 13 sessions in 2023-2024 to 25 classes in the most recently completed 2025-2026 sessions!

It’s never too late to sign-up! You can watch any classes you miss using the links that will appear on this page once the 2026-2027 sessions commence. It’s always preferred that you come Tuesday evenings to attend them live!

Catechism Classes

Catechism classes entitled Basics in Orthodoxy are offered every fall. Classes cover various aspects of the Orthodox Faith and are meant to acquaint participants with a basic understanding of Church History, and the Holy Mysteries (sacraments) and provide a better understanding of Orthodox theology in general. While these classes are part of a Catechumen’s journey into the Orthodox Faith, they are also available for Orthodox Christians desiring to learn more about their own faith.

All classes are held inside the nave of St. Katherine weekly (see Class Schedule linked below for details and exceptions) on Tuesdays, beginning promptly at 6:30 pm and ending at approximately 7:45pm. If you are interested in attending, please pre-register by clicking the link below.
