Adult Catechism classes have evolved over the past 2 years, from thirteen classes in 2023-2024, to 16 classes in 2024-2025 and now a schedule of TWENTY-SIX classes for the 2025-2026 sessions!

It’s never too late to sign-up! You can watch any classes you missed using the links on this page, then come Tuesday evenings to attend them live!

Catechism Classes

Catechism classes entitled Basics in Orthodoxy are offered every fall. Classes cover various aspects of the Orthodox Faith and are meant to acquaint participants with a basic understanding of Church History, and the Holy Mysteries (sacraments) and provide a better understanding of Orthodox theology in general. While these classes are part of a Catechumen’s journey into the Orthodox Faith, they are also available for Orthodox Christians desiring to learn more about their own faith.

All classes are held inside the nave of St. Katherine weekly (see Class Schedule linked below for details and exceptions) on Tuesdays, beginning promptly at 6:30 pm and ending at approximately 7:45pm. If you are interested in attending, please register by clicking the link below.
